From the 23rd to the 26th of September, the Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan participated in the 42nd meeting of Deans and Directors of Diplomatic Academies and Institutes of International Relations (known as IFDT, International Forum on Diplomatic Training), hosted in Warsaw, Poland by the European Academy of Diplomacy, Poland and the National School of Public Administration of Poland.

The forum was attended by representatives of more than 50 diplomatic academies from 6 continents that came to Warsaw to discuss new trends and challenges in educating future diplomats. Guest speakers of the Forum included celebrities as Former President of Poland Aleksander Kwaśniewski and former Prime Minister Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz. 

Working with civil society, diplomacy and human rights, mentoring in diplomatic training, implementing new technologies, European diplomatic training and the EEAS, and recruiting and training of new diplomats were the main topics of the Forum.
