11.05.2015 • International Conference on Digital Diplomacy

On the fifth anniversary of its establishment the Diplomatic School of Armenia organized a two-day international conference, ''Digital Diplomacy:  Perspectives and Challenges''. The opening ceremony took place on May 11 th , in the Best Western Congress Hotel, Yerevan. The event aimed primarily at colleagues representing diplomatic schools, academies and training institutions of foreign ministries attracted over 70 participants from 25 countries: representatives of diplomatic academies, universities, ministries of foreign affairs, ambassadors and diplomats accredited to Armenia and to other countries and others . 20.04.2015 • DS Director Vahe Gabrielyan's visit to Ljubljana

On April 20 th Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan delivered a lecture at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, entitled “ The Armenian Genocide and its Lasting Impact ”. The talk took place within the “ Rights for Peace” events held by the Department of Social Sciences and included, among others, a presentation by Liet. Gen. 19.12.2014 • DS Director Vahe Gabrielyan's meeting with the students of the Slavonic University

On December 19th, a meeting was held at the Russian – Armenian (Slavonic) University between the Director of the Diplomatic School Vahe Gabrielyan and the students of the University. Vahe Gabrielyan presented the Diplomatic School activities ,  dwelling especially on the International Relations and Diplomacy program, the training process at the School and the possibilities opening up for the School alumni. Vahe Gabrielyan answered an array of questions on the Admissions proceedings and other aspects of the School activities as well as on the Armenian diplomatic service in general.  

18.12.2014 • Oaths ceremony at the MFA for Diplomatic School graduates

On December 18th, an oath ceremony was held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the Diplomatic School graduates of the previous program . Twent-two diplomats took an oath of diplomatic service and received certificates for attaché 's diplomatic rank .

13.11.2014 • French language certificates award ceremony

On November 13 th , a ceremony of awarding certificates took place in the Diplomatic School. Students of the Shool's "International Relations and Diplomacy" program, who have studied in the special French language course taught by  Alliance Francaise D'Armenie at the Diplomatic School, received proofs of their first success.

16.10.2014 • "Prospects for Armenia’s Public Diplomacy" Workshop

On October 16, Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia conducted a workshop entitled “Prospects for Armenia’s Public Diplomacy”. It started with the welcoming remarks of Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan, Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, and Mr Hao-Binh Adjemian, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the European Union Delegation to Armenia. 13.10.2014 • Students of the Diplomatic School visit Artsakh

 The annual study tour of the Diplomatic School students to Artsakh took place from October 9th to 12 th , led by Director of the School, Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan.  On October 9th the students met with Mr Karen Mirzoyan, the Foreign Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and high-ranking diplomats of Artsakh. The Foreign Minister briefed the DS students on the priorities of NKR foreign policy and the main tasks of the Ministry and answered their questions. On the same day the students were accepted by President Bako Sahakyan. The President noted with satisfaction that study visits by students of Diplomatic School to Artsakh, initiated by its Director, had become a commendable tradition and that such visits were important for future diplomats. 29.09.2014 • 41st Meeting of Directors of Diplomatic Academies

The 41 st Annual Meeting of Deans and Directors of Diplomatic Academies and Institutes of International Relations Director of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan took part in the 41st Annual Meeting of Deans and Directors of Diplomatic Academies and Institutes of International Relations, held in Pretoria, South Africa, from September 23 rd to September 27 th . The meeting known under the name of International Forum on Diplomatic Training [IFDT] was this year devoted to the problems of teaching contemporary conflicts at institutes of diplomatic training. Ambassador Gabrielyan made a presentation devoted to the activities and role of enablers, i.e. international mediators of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. 16.09.2014 • Study tour to Brussels and Vienna 2014

Students of the Diplomatic School of Armenia visit the EU institutions, International Organisations and Diplomatic Missions of Armenia in Brussels and Vienna   From 8 till 12 September students and staff of the Diplomatic School of Armenia, lead by the Director, Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan, visited Brussels and Vienna. The study visit to the headquarters of the European Union (EU), the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), to NATO and to the United Nations is an important complement to the courses and modules offered in the ten-month Programme in Diplomacy and International Relations offered by the Diplomatic School. 03.09.2014 • Signing of a Cooperation Agreement with the National Foreign Service Institute of Argentina

Signing of a Cooperation Agreement between the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia and the National Foreign Service Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina. On September 3, the Director of the Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ambassador Vahe Gabrielyan and the Director of the National Foreign Service Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship of Argentina, Ambassador Juan C. Valle Raleigh signed an Agreement of Cooperation, which is the second agreement between these two institutions of diplomatic training. The first, signed in 2011, expired before the signing of the current Agreement. The signing ceremony took place after the meeting between the Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan and Deputy Foreign Minister of Argentina Eduardo Antonio Zuain and consultations between the delegations of two ministries.
